Super weird and hilarious!!
Ugh, creepy and sad that the advertisers would think this is an appropriate ad. And I can't help but wonder what parents of small children will say when their child sees such a thing and repeats not only the words but acts it out as well :(. IMO this is one of the many reasons the world is the way it is today.

Thanks for sharing - my eyes are bleeding. I thought it might be something about parrots.
I guess I'm the only one with a sick sense of humor..oh, well..

LOL too hilarious The human mind is a trip.
I wouldn't worry too much about this world. It really has gotten a lot better. People used to cut other peoples heads off for not thinking like them.

Now about the video clip. Personally, I think it borders on moronicism. It's possible that it may even offend certain folks (I suppose). But I have to say that I get the humor part of it - which IMO is the only part it possesses besides the moronic one :th_shakehead:. I'll further say that if someone complains about it to me I'll likely remove it. I'd rather not have to do that, however.
I guess it all depends upon one's particular sense of humor :)

I was not too sure about posting this crazy ad. I am on both sides here. It is funny and this guy can really dance but there are better ways to advertise a car. Watching it makes me remember my Mom did not let me watch Elvis Presley on TV because of his dancing.

I only got about fifteen seconds into it before I had enough. I did wonder if it was a woman doing the dancing in the rear view shots.
When I was in advertising we had cartoon gnus selling tea (Peter Rigby for Ty-phoo) and copywriters who produced lines like "At 60mph, all you can hear is the ticking of the clock" (for Rolls Royce) which got David Ogilvy a 60th birthday card with "at 60, all you can hear is the ticking of his pacemaker" which we made him as he had just come out of hospital after a heart attack.
As you can tell, I am ancient.

Yeah Tony, as soon as I hit the reply button I thought of that. I guess what I was implying was that the world has been much more barbaric in the past (as in it was normal) At least most of the world recognizes the latest happenings as "Not Normal". The video was stupidly funny though.

Ok, I finally watched it. Sorry I'm late to the party.
I think it is dopey, but don't see anything wrong with it. I loved the older woman's face, made me laugh. Where they found a guy who has such a big booty is my question. Lol
That song has been around forever, my kids have sung it. They actually sing it to the Rosis and the dogs and change the words around to make a joke. I don't have a problem with it. But then I am a bit warped!
My opinion is that kids are exposed to way more kooky things than we were at their age. As long as we teach them to find humor in things, they should be ok. I agree with Lori. The world in general was a much more violent place in the past. We certainly have our share of it, but it is pointed out as horrifying. I would rather my kids see dopey videos than attend public hangings (or the plethera of "normal" violence accepted in the past) in the town center with the rest of their peers.
