Greys to hatch any day now

One of our lovely pairs of greys have been diligently caring for 4 perfect eggs.So the signs are there for a hatching any day now.Always very exciting. Soon to be 4 new little souls added to the world. :)

Oh how awesome it must be to watch the process from the beginning of life to a fully fledged bird. Wow, do you already have forever homes for them as well?

Wish you had a camera hidden in their nest so we could see. Are they CAG or TAG?

They are Congo African Greys.We usually have a long wait list for our little ones.Especially the greys and Macaws.We screen our new families before the birds leave and to avoid them becoming passed around...a contract requiring surrender back to us should they be unable to adequately care for the bird.To date we keep in touch with everyone and zero have had to be surrendered.Its always very exciting to see the little ones growing.

Well.....after a noble effort by our grey, sadly this cluch of eggs turned out to be infertile.She is doing fine and Im sure they will try again later in the year.

Sorry to hear about the eggs. I'm glad she's fine, too. Maybe the next time will prove viable.

Oh how sad, but I like to think that maybe it just wasn't meant to be this time. I also am glad she is doing well.
