So Proud of Honey!

Yesterday was Honey's first outing in her flight suit. We were having another Make-A-Wish event at my bird club, and I thought it would be best to bring her as she is very sweet. She enjoyed the car ride sitting up on my shoulder. At bird club, she was a little clumsy in the suit, but still let the little girl and her siblings hold and pet her. The girl seemed so happy holding and playing with all the birds, and it made me very happy to see that. :) Afterwords, Honey got rewarded with ice cream, which made her very happy! :th_biggrin:

What a cutie! It is so awesome that your club does make a wish events. What a beautiful way to bring joy to a small persons life. You are a wonderful soul for spreading happiness to people who need it most Maddy!!

Oh Maddy, that's so great! I thought about getting Orsino to be a therapy bird like that at one point in time, but I've been so busy I don't know when I would have actually done it. Kudos to you and Honey for a successful Make-A-Wish day!
