Amigo loves the little mini peppers, I buy the organic. Did you know..red bell peppers are the most heavily dosed veggie when it comes to pesticides? This is why I only buy organic.

I will try for some pictures of the two that are in the rescue currently, Sam is big, but Maggie is way smaller then amigo

ehh I am not sure it varies a lot to me, I have met small ones due to bad breeding or at least thats what a vet stated about it. I guess a lot of factors go into it just like humans.

Before Amigo was DNA tested, I just knew he was a male bird. Some things..you just know..

Very nice shot of Amigo, Mare! I try to get organic everything for my guys. As much as I can, anyway. Some of the pesticide chemicals are cumulative so I think keeping away from as much of that stuff as possible is important. Thanks for sharing :)

I wish I could get Rosie to eat peppers, every week I offer them to her and she just has no interest whatsoever in them. I also buy the mini organic sweet peppers.

Fortunately she eats almost every other veggie.

I always thought Rosie was a big bird until I met a male Moluccan at a rescue centre. He was shockingly huge. At least a third bigger than her!

Same here, I wonder if they associate red with poison? or blood?

All my budgies hated anything red, except one strange budgie hen that I enjoyed pomegranate seeds. :th_biggrin:
