I figured I would see what everyone has planned for Thanksgiving.

I am cooking for a small group, just the Fitz farm and my mom & dad. While I clean up and relax Jef will take the kids to his sisters for dessert and to visit. Friday we head to Nantucket, where Jefs mom, another sister and her family are celebrating Thanksgiving. My parents will be here with the crazy animals.

Also, anything you are feeling especially thankful for this year?

I am thankful for my kids and husband. It has been a bit of a rough year, but they always make me smile with their humor and fill my heart with love. :)

We are going to have a crew of around eight or nine, depending, and they are ALL freaking vegetarians and vegans! All but me and my little 6yr. old great-niece (I'll make turkey gravy and small turkey breast for us). I will definitely miss the smell of a whole turkey in the oven :). Our youngest son, 22, will be home for two days and our daughter is back from New Zealand, she and her boyfriend will be here also. A few friends and some other family members, too. Everyone will be bringing something to help with dinner, I look forward to our time together :)

I'm so thankful for my family and friends, what would life be without them?

My family is split up in different places this year. I decided I would rather be home then on the road.

I am thankful for the new friends I have made since moving into senior housing. Thankful for my twin daughters but wish I would see them once in awhile.

Working early afternoon till late, so we will be preparing our dinner trimmings tomorrow. On Thursday a plate to take to work for mealtime. This is a difficult time for retail workers as most of us HAVE to show up to work if you want to keep your job. Our families are use to this schedule after so many years.

I'm most thankful to God for the many blessings He has given me throughout my life. My families, friends and the things that make life easier to bare.

I'm also thankful He has led me to this forum where all of you are so willing share your knowledge to help me and anyone who comes here, learn how to be a better companion to the birds who hold a special place in our hearts.
