...because I always need someone to help get them off of me.

And you can't see it, but there's another 'tiel in my hair. They're all babies - the lovies are freshly weaned and relatives of my Dori, bred with the same parents as my little girl, and the 'tiels are just weaned (I went in a week and a half prior to this and they were still crying to be fed, wouldn't eat seed yet). And they tried to eat my necklace, something I've trained Orsino out of and forget they do, ha! That's why I look terrified, that little guy had just gone for it.

I feel like a tree...

Aww Jen,

How nice of them to see you as a safe human. You are brave to go it alone, especially to leave without buying a new baby.

It was so hard! They had this little yellow peachface, too, and she was sooo cute, and those little green peachies were just so much trouble it was really hard getting out of there...

Ha ha :) You must have the right "Color Aura" . They say we all have a color and birds can see them :)

Hehe. It sounds silly but I am starting to believe that. I think birds can tell the "bird people" - even when I went on vacation up in Canada, I was sitting around a lake reading a book and when I looked up because a guy came up to me and said something ("wow, they must really like you"), I realized I was surrounded by sleeping ducks. Even after I'd run out of food for them, mind you. They just tucked and took a nap right there on the ground next to my feet. I just replied that they knew I was a good egg because I have birds at home :)

animals know good people and gravitate towards them I can't go anywhere that has puppies as it is a known fact I will bring one home unless there is someone to stop me.
