He's doing great Mare. He really loves Julia to a fault. If her husband gets too close to her when Kilo is with her, he will bite Julia. He gets jealous. He does like Kevin though. Julia told me Kilo will yell "Kevin! Kevin!" and when Kevin finally says "what Kilo, what do you want?' Kilo will then say "Where's my girlfriend" That's a phrase that Kevin uses a lot LOL
He has a really good home and he is loved.

Well, they're smaller than, say, mine, so ... lol. Little in that sense. And I think Orsino is too photogenic for his own good. I took so many photos of him during our first few years together that he will actually hold a pose or strike up a smile if the camera comes out...the little ham.

Yeah, I get kind of panic-attack-laden when she starts poofing out with an egg. Last time I thought she was egg-bound. This time she laid two, she laid another one last night, and I can't see anymore in her, so I think this is the end of it for now...I hope. I'm just so worried about binding.

Haha! Thanks Tony. Yes, she's my little monster, we call her the Kraken, and this is why. She was going for the camera in that shot but she went for my hand in the next, she's still all nesty and didn't want me NEAR her cage...

Just found a completely random old "blackmail" photo of me and my friend's old bird, Jeckyl. Unfortunately they parted ways and I have not seen either one in years, but he was such a cool, handsome bird who loved talking to Orsino and just hanging out next to each other (in separate cages). Also one of the few pictures that I haven't destroyed yet that has my hair in its natural blonde.

I think cockatiels love to have their head scratched by us humans more than other bird species. Of course Macaws do too. My budgies will not let me touch them and I so long to scratch their little heads.

Hi Nikol! My 'toos have their moments, I think like any parrot but I don't think they are bad :). Some may think, "she's just use to it", but no..birds scream for a reason and once you figure out those reasons, life can be pretty peaceful. I think 'toos get a bad reputation for being obnoxiously loud because they DO have a super loud voice. When you learn what they are asking, life is much calmer :)

I think all sun conures are similar in coloring.. I could be wrong.. But i don't think males or females are colored differently. :)

Noah does not have birds of his own but he loves them. Noah is the one Amigo chose to hate, though :(. They are getting better, Amigo doesn't dive bomb for the kill anymore..this is nice.

She is a cutie, for sure :). The clothespin has definitely seen better days! Cockatiels don't have the chompers of the larger cockatoos but I've noticed that they still love to chew! This was a hand-me-down clothespin from Sassy's cage. I weave a type of raffia ribbon through her bars that she enjoys to chew on, also.
