Introducing....Honey and Precious!

Introducing Madame Presley "Precious" De' Pompadour and Captain Honey Harkness! Precious is the Yellow Sided Green Cheek, and Honey is the Cinnamon Green Cheek. They are both 4 years old, and are both females. I adopted them from a member of another forum, who was re-homing them because she couldn't spoil them as much as she'd like. They got here earlier this afternoon.

When we got home, I set up their cage, and then they both stepped right out of their travel cage for me. They ate and drank, and then I spent some time with them. They are both such sweet little birds! Precious is a little skittish, but very sweet. Honey seems to like to be held. She likes to climb up my shirt and sit on my shoulder. (:

Aww, what an adorable pair of GCCs you have there, Maddy :D. They're beautiful... I love their color patterns! They seem like very sweet little gals. Congrats to all three of you :)

Well they are beauty's, how wonderful it is that you were able to adopt them into your flock. It is so terribly difficult to give away a loved one but so very wonderful and reassuring to know they are in a great home and will be loved by their new family!
