When do they have first moult.. I am in the UK

Usually the first molt is around the first year or a few months sooner. You will start to see little white fluffies everywhere. When molting it can help to give them some expra protein for feather growth and also calories.

Rosie, my GW molts all year long. The poor thing never has a time without getting poked by nasty pin feathers. Showers help a lot and if you can't do a shower then even just having them in the bathroom while you shower is good. The steam helps a lot. :)

My greenwing, sun conure, cinnamon green cheek all molt year long.. Its gotta suck.. My yellow nape doesn't though.. Odd.. But she's in "season" alot.. My little budgie is the only semi normal bird in the flock lol
