I wanted to give everyone an update on the duvyenbodes lory I received into my personal flock from a member here on PP. Pipo is doing great he is a huge clown and I love him to death as he loves everyone as well! He is enjoying plenty of time in the family room watching T.v. and jumping on everyone. He seems to come to me to rough house or calm down. He did really well with all the family members and is fitting in well.

I would like him to eventually be introduced into my bird room. I took him out there once and he talked, but the rest got very quiet and stared like it was something they never seen before. That would have been a lot of pressure to me by my peers so we will do it slowly;).

My mind always works in the way of being in the shoes/ feathers of other people/ birds. In the business I work with it is needed!!

Peace and love everyone,
Justin

Great to hear, Justin :). Pipo sounds to have a remarkable personality. I second the request for you to snap and post some pics of him when you get a chance. I'm very glad he has settled in so well!

It warms your heart when a little one's life has changed yet they take it in stride so well, like nothing is fazing him in the least.

Wonder if the rest are more jealous if they know it already that he is not going to be joining them in their place.

Sounds like Pipo is loving life, as it should be :). I hear ya when you say "you live in their shoes/feathers",,empathy is a trait I wish ALL humans could have!

Justin! I am so happy to hear that Pipo is happy and that you are enjoying him. My husband just asked me today if I had heard from Pipo. I would have loved to see his face when he saw all of your birds ... and theirs when they saw him.

He IS a clown, isn't he?

You just can't imagine (or maybe you can) how good his owner and I feel that Pipo has landed in such a great place. And that he has turned out to be such a great bird for you and your family. Win! Win! Win!
