Why does it not show up for me? I get a black (not red) x'ed in box in the upper left corner but when I say to show picture, nothing shows.

I love this guy! Great shot! Macaws aren't powdery, dusty? His beak looks like it has a fresh coat of wax on it!

Mare, macaws don't have the dust like cockatoos. They have oil based feathers, not powder. I learned this when Ash started going Gaga over an M2, George that was at Parrot Mountain. When we were talking about toos, it came to light that the dander can cause asthma sufferers some issues. Since CW has allergy induced asthma, we put that right out of our heads. Love how soft they are, but the powder would kill CW!!

Macaws aren't powdery, dusty?No. But mine get feather sheath particles all over them after they (or I) crack the sheaths from their feathers - which is an ongoing process ;)

I suppose we are fortunate that no one has allergies in this house, if so, they would be dead! :)

Gotta love the feather casings! They add to the food and toy mess in the floor. Rosie has me preen her a couple times a day to remove them. It's crazy how fast they grow!! When I go away she is covered in pins!!!!

Be nice to see that boys glamour photoIt sounds like your browser may be blocking the image hosting URL. If you're using any spam or ad blockers or other filtering applications/extensions, try disabling them for a test. The image may load for you once you've done that. Plus, it's just a phone-cam snap anyway... so if you still can't see it you're not missing anything hugely spectacular, Renee' :)
