With summer....

Comes open windows and the ice cream truck! We found out today that Josie remembers the ice cream truck and couldn't get outside fast enough. She heard the music before we did and got very excited and wanted to 'lets go!' Come on! We got outside after we got her in her harness and low and behold the ice cream truck was coming around the corner playing her new favorite song, pop goes the weasel. The kids got some soft serve and she got a cone that she promptly turned over and bit off the tip just like a little kid does. I think it made her week.

That's so funny, I bet there was no trouble getting the harness on. It's pretty neat that they remember enjoyable things for that length of time.

Aww, Josie sounds adorable :). But you didn't give her a whole ice cream cone (filled with ice cream), did you?

WhooHoo! Yay, ice cream truck!! Comin' to get me! :).

Oh no she doesn't get ice cream, just the cone that she bites the tip off and tosses. The lady always gives her one but I don't have the heart to tell her that Josie doesn't really eat it. Either way, it makes them both happy. :-)
