These are not home made but they will be in my house. Just thought I would share because they are neat.

Yeah, I guess so. Looks like register tape that you can buy at Office Depot or something. I was thinking that all of my guys would love to shred some of this.
Sassy would love it.

Mare, office depot adding machine tape. One roll 3" x 150' $1.19. How could a bird not love this toy.

Thanks, Lori, I'm definitely going to put it on my list for my next city shopping trip!

I used to have a bird here that would love if i just set a whole roll on the top of her cage. She would pull it down and shred and shred. I came out one day to a cage filled upto the lowest perch with paper! I almost fell over. Just make sure you get the non coated ones, some of them come with a coating that is dangerous.

Rosie had one and she loved it! Unfortunately, she also loved destroying the connectors, so it is sitting waiting for me to go get new small ones. It is an awesome toy!!!

Toilet paper rolls. My conure and lovebird cannot get enough of empty toilet paper rolls or paper towel rolls...I can't even hang them up for the birds, they see them and attack until there's nothing but shreds on the bottom of the cage floor usually about an hour in my conure's case).

Great toy! But as Justin has alerted, be sure to use rolls of 'safe' paper. Some are chemically treated and could prove toxic for birds... especially if/when ingested or dropped into a bird's water bowl.

That's a great toy! I've made something similar to that for Jester. :)
