My birds go to sleep at 7 pm and we wake them up during the weekdays at 4 am. On weekends, we all sleep in. Lucy could sleep until 10 if we let her, but Frankie is hollering "good morning Frankie" at 7 am. Little Amber is already awake by then as are the tiels and budgies. I'm wondering if smaller birds require less sleep time than the larger birds. Or if my birds are just wierd.

This is very interesting Debra. I think you may have something here!

Codie goes to be at 9.30pm and I normally get him up between 8.30 am and 9am. He does not make a sound until I uncover him, even though he can hear me. Now, Harry and Sally are chirping away at the crack of dawn, even though they are still covered!

My cockatoos always let me know when the sun is down :). This is when the night-nights start, (aka, cockatoo sonata) the cages get covered, curtains are closed, lights are turned off and door closed. Little Chip is the first to start chirping in the morning. If Sassy or Amigo hear any activity in the kitchen before six-thirty...we will be alerted that it is time to start the day!

Rosie goes to bed between 7 - 8. If I have been out for a lot of the day I may let her stay up until 9. We usually get her out in the morning around 7. If I take too long to come down, she will start yelling around 7:45.

She doesn't nap, at least when I'm home. Not sure what she does when I'm out though...

Mina goes to bed at 8 pm she now knows how to say night night and I just figured out she starts saying it around 8. If for som reason we have her up later. When I don't work day shift I uncover her at 10:00. When I do work days I uncover her at 5:30 am. But still leave the room as dark as possible. She looks at me like get out I'm trying to sleep. Hahaha. She also asks to nap around 2 if I'm home. She is a lazy baby. I Love that nap we take 😍😘
