Do your birds like Avi-Cakes and Nutriberries?

I was just wondering how many of your birds like Avi-Cakes and Nutriberries? I have heard many bird owners say how their fids will do anything for Nutriberries or a piece of Avi-Cake :) Well, maybe I just have a very fickle bird as Codie will not touch either of these :( He doesn't like Birdie Bread either!

Does Cody just turn his nose up at them? I've not tried the Nutri-berries but Amigo and Sassy do like the Avi-cakes. The problem with them is the pieces are rather big and after a couple bites, it gets dropped to the bottom of the cage so a lot of it ends up being a waste. Maybe if I cut them into smaller chunks..hmmm! Now I'm thinking! :).

My tiels and budgies don't like either one. Frankie, Amber and Lucy all love their Nutriberries but not the cakes.

Rosie has liked the southwestern nutiberries. But I don't get them often. Like Amigo and Sassy she drops a good portion. It is a waste so it is a once in a while treat. Never tried AviCakes.

The Avi-Cakes I cut up in small pieces for him and the nutriberries I cut in half. All he does is throw them across the room.lol.

Mine used to like both, but they stopped eating the berries. They all do like the avicakes though. I crumble them up in their bowls and they devour them.

Mine just break them up. They don't eat them.

I was told that all birds love both of these, but, this does not seem to be the case, judging by how many of our birds do not like them :)

the last time i bought avi-cakes jasper liked them, but it was a few years ago i must admit. i think i got to buying other treats and for whatever reason didn't buy anymore, so i might try her again with them :)

the nutriberries just get ignored, jasper doesn't like them at all x

its taken me several years to realise jasper is not really a treat bird and much prefers treats like toast or a small piece of biscuit x

I've tried all kinds of nutri berries and avi cakes. Nope just throws them down weather they are in a forager, a treat dish, or food dish forget it. She just hates them.

None of my previous birds have liked them. However Riley loves her nutriberries. At first she wouldn't go near them so when I turned around to put the lid back on them and put them in the storage tote with my extra bird supplies I was surprised when she flew over from her cage and landed on the container and started eating them right from the container.

Honesty OMG my Crimson bellied conure.......Ziggy loves both the nutriberries and avi-cakes. He gets 2 avi-cakes every night before I cover him for the night. He devours them instantly. If I don't give them to him or forget he squalks until he gets them.....lol. He is so spoiled. I am glad he loves them. They are so good for him.
