Does you macaw like to swing? Josie has this wreath thing that she absolutely goes crazy in. In fact, she swings herself to sleep at night. I don't remember seeing any macs with swings in their cages.

I had a swing in Ruby Jewel's enclosure I made from a natural limb and rope. She would not get near it and I would move it to different spots thinking maybe she didn't like where it was at. Not a chance of her being a swinger! She does love to stand on just rope looped about as long as it isn't intended as a swing. LOL
I used to have a large wooden ring I wrapped with rope for Roscoe. It was hanging by rope so it would swing when he got on it and he loved to use it. He decided to chew it up one day. I haven't built another one for him as yet. He loves to swing about on his loops of rope hanging from his enclosure top, and he loves to swing from the rope ends that dangle from those looped sections. So I really should build him another. Once I move him & Angel's enclosures to the other room I will see about making him another swing. :)

Rosie hasn't been big on swinging. She has several but generally ignores them. Sometimes she will sit on one but that's about it. Hoping that as she gets older and more coordinated she will enjoy it as much as Josie. ;)
Rosie dances but not the typical macaw side to side. She bops up and down. I joke that it's bc she is a jersey girl and it is her version of the fist pump. ;)

Josie doesn't do the side to side dance, she does more of a disco fever diagonal bounce thing. Must be a Pennsylvania thing...lol

Coqui likes her swing but doesnt do a lot of swinging with it. I hope to encourage more swinging. ;)
