Hello I just purchased my new companion Cloud :) I did a bit of research about him and I came to a conclusion that it is a male around 4-6 months old. I would like a second opinion :) by the way Cloud says hello to you all!

The iris seems to be pointing to the 4-6 month if im not mistaken. But of course if this is true the cere can still change.

Nice name for the little one. It is difficult to tell the sex of a young bird as the cere color can change as they mature.

Hello and welcome to PP! What a beautiful budgie you have there! Judging by the striped on his head he is definitely a young baby. Those stripes disappear as the budgie gets older. I'm not sure of the sex, because those lighter colored/whiteish colored budgies ceres can change. Just keep an eye on it.

Welcome to the flock & forum Iomar and Cloud. You have a gorgeous adorable widdle budgie. :)
In my personal opinion I lean toward male for Cloud judging by the slight blue tinge I see in the close up photo and the age he seems to be. I think it is male, but I am no expert other than owning 10 budgies, male & females both and all my females no matter what color mutation has a light to dark brown Ceres. And they began to develop the brown by the time they were that old. Some of my males have the purple/blue Ceres.

Cloud is doing great!! he enjoys his toys. I got a pineapple gcc I have them in seperate cages. Today I put them together for 5-10 mins. They surely enjoyed their company. I was a little unsure how they would react to each other but they amazingly did great!! They are apart now. But it was a cool experience.
