Ugh! I need to change the papers in the bird's cages, but Jerry used all of it doing Lucy's cage. So, I bought a paper this morning and what does he say? "You have to wait until I read it to use it". I feel that if he doesn't read it today then it's fair game tomorrow. lol

We use to have paper delivery available at the top of the road but the delivery guy quit and because we are so remote the Bee will only deliver on Sundays so we cancelled. We now have my brother-in-law save his for us/birds. I've found that paper grocery bags will work in a pinch :)

You will have to ask people to save their papers for you Debra :)

It really is no problem to get a paper daily as we stop at the convenience store after work each morning to get something to drink. We just need to remember to pick one up. Hubby has now read yesterday's paper and today's so I'm good to go as soon as my back will let me.

I don't buy newspapers anymore. Around here they are so darn expensive and barely any sheets. Instead, I grab handfuls of "The American Classifieds" which are free for the taking, come out every Thursday and there's always plenty all over the place. They have gotten thinner over the years and used to be called "The Thrifty Nickle". But they are still worth the price! LOL

Even Abilene ' s Sunday paper is only a few thin sheets these days. Everyone gets their news free online and the papers don't sell enough ads to warrant the price out here. :(

We don't get the Sunday paper as they want $3 for it! I had forgotten about the Thrifty Nickel (it will always be that for me lol). I'll have to start gathering them. Thanks for the idea! Now I won't have to wait on him to finish reading to do the cages. lol
