Spare bedroom that was supposed to be for my mom when she visits is now turning into the Bird Room. They seem to be happier in there. I think I need an addition

Good for Clover! I love the natural facial expression of Alex's... that look makes them perpetually appear as if they're surprised by what they're seeing :)

I make all mine myself from natural limbs I have available. I don't live close to any large bird stores and shipping is super expensive on them.

Turquoise, I love making my own stuff. Sometimes I'll have an idea in my head of what I want and can't find it anywhere. That's when I have to make it. And, it is cheaper. I would rather save money for the stuff I can't make like vet bills and stuff like that. The play stand is now equipped with wooden toys, shredding toys and puzzle toys to get treats out of. They love it.

great stand, sure looks like clover enjoys it. if he is anything like my alex's it wont be long till you will be replacing it, they are so destructive. i now use 1.5 - 2 inch thick branches to make my playstands and perches.

All the better if he destroys it. I'll just go pluck some more branches off of something. It sure beats the possible destruction of the woodwork in the house. Both him and Kilo love to tear stuff up. Kilo's favorite is envelopes. I ended up buying his own box of envelopes.
