Meet Clover

This is Clover. He's my Alexandrine Parakeet and he's a real cool little guy. He likes to hang out with me but doesn't really like to be touched. Yes Spiritbird, I have two birds. My other one is Kilo the Goffins Cockatoo that hates me, but he's coming around. Clover actually came with a name but it was Hitler. I found myself constantly explaining that I didn't name him that so I just changed it. He probably has another 30 or so years to live so I'm sure he will get used to it. I've only heard him say his old name once so I don't think he's too attached to it anyway.

Woo hoo, a fellow alex owner. Clover is such a beautiful boy 2birds. Welcome to the site and feel free to flood the alex section with his antics. I my self have 2 beautiful boys who are absolute terrors but i wouldnt have them any other way

Gemini, Clover and I have a daily ritual. I pretty much vacuum everyday because I have two very hairy large dogs. For some reason he likes to take a bathe when the vacuum is on so I have to give him a large bowl of water before I start so he can have his bath. If I don't he will try to bathe in his water bowl.

Oh Clover is a real beauty!! I do love the colors on him. :) Alexandrines are such a unique looking parrot. They do intrigue me a lot. And I can certainly see why you would have to change his name. I'm afraid I would have done so just because I would not like calling such a beautiful bird by his former name.

Turquoise, I agree. I think Clover suits him better anyway. He just looks like a little Clover to me.
