Frizzle chickens.

A Frizzle is a type of chicken with feathers that curl outwards, rather than lying flat as in most chickens. While many consider the Frizzle to be an entirely separate breed, it is not. Chickens from all breeds may have a frizzled appearance.

I wonder if it's similar to the feather duster syndrome in budgies (which is basically fatal since they cannot see to find food). They're cute though!

I love 'em and would love to have some!! I saw this on FB recently. To me they look like pine cones with beaks & legs.

LOL! What interesting looking chickens! They look like they were born in the 70's! :th_biggrin:
