It's Been A Crazy Month!!

I am sorry I have been MIA once again here on PP, but it has been one crazy month. First of all, I had to work on catching up on paperwork for tax time which took a lot of my time. And I REALLY HATE paperwork! Then my MIL came to visit on March 4th and was then bitten by Coqui the following day and we had to take her to the ER to get stitches. Actually, it turned out to be one stitch! My MIL was very very nice about the whole thing but I felt horrible for at least a week! I am feeling better now. But really, the last person you want your bird to bite is your MIL! LOL! Then we brought new pets into our family. 3 Fire Bellied Toads to be exact! The kids are absolutely loving them. I will post a thread on them in the next day or two. I was also interviewed for our local paper on my love for parrots and was in the paper just last week. So the last month has just been nuts and I have had no time to get on here and chat! But I wanted to at least check in and say hi and I hope to hang around while I can until things get busy again. I will post some threads sometime this week. Hope everyone is doing well! Miss you guys!

Biting MIL is not a good idea :th_LOL:I am glad she is okay though and it wasn't too serious!

Yes, it has been crazy. LOL! And you are so right, bad person to bite! Coqui needs to learn these things apparently. My MIL was so super nice about it. But she is a little more leary about Coqui. Maybe I will post some pics later of the damage. By time she left this past Tuesday, stitches were out and it was healing really well. Thank goodness!
