Yes, it was a biggie :) His pic was in our local paper as the biggest catch of the year! This pleased Daniel :)

Very big fish indeed!! It resembles the carp we have around here, but I'd venture a guess it is something else. How nice that he caught the biggest fish for the season. Looks like he has a great place to call home when he goes out into the wilds of the UK! :)

I live at a lake(?) and I hate to fish. I have no patience to sit still and wait for a silly fish to amble by and decide my baited hook is tastier than the wild free foods flopping around on top the water. LOL (I added the question mark cause the actual water is so far away from my house due to the drought, the lake bed looks more like a weedy low valley. Id say it is a good half mile from the shore area around the houses here.)

I feel exactly the same De'Andrea. I cannot see the fun in sitting there for hours on end waiting to catch a fish. Sometimes in the summer I go down and sit with him for an hour. If the alarm goes off on his rod, you just would not believe how quickly Daniel moves. The sheer excitement on his face when he has caught one is priceless :)
