Is that a silver mutation ?

Afriend asked me if that cockatiel's color is ''Silver'' or just ''Pied''
and actually i didn't really know..can you please tell us :)

It's definitely a pied but I'm unsure if it's a silver pied or not. Do you know what the parents are? I'm leaning on a plain pied. I can check with someone who has studied this if you don't mind me sending her the pictures.

I'm not sure, but he is gorgeous!

My friend looked at the pictures and said she couldn't tell from them. She said he appears lighter than a regular pied, but the shots just weren't good enough to tell. Sorry.

Our Piper is similarly colored though pearled. We were told she was "Cinnamon".
