French Bulldog Painting

First of all, painting fur is SO much harder then painting feathers!

This is a painting of my little buddy, Maurice the French Bulldog. I chose to paint him as a puppy instead of a adult. I also wanted to paint him more cartoonish then realistic. I think he turned out so cute!

Hey Maddy that's a super awesome painting of a bull dog!! I love it!!:th_biggrin: You did an exceptional job of making him look just like a French Bulldog should.

You ain't kidding fur is a lot harder to paint, draw or do anything with to make it look right than feathers. With feathers you can get away with a little more blending and shading and a few wisps of a thin brush for detail and their done! Fur...not so easy as that. LOL
