Couple weeks ago . I went to my "Only" bird store to get lorry food . I don't know if anyone has had this experience before. But this Chattering lorry wouldn't leave me alone . He kept calling "Hey" "Hi". He was holding one of my fingers and licking the other . They said " do you want to see him" ? He dove on me [of course we have him now!! [his names Percy]. also while we were there the owner said he would like this male Eclectus to go to a nice home like ours [like he had to twist my arm]. The owner takes in unwanted birds and sometimes places them . This guy plucks , he came cause his mate tried to kill him . Hes been their now a few years . Poor guys says "I love Ruby" that was his mates name . So Dingo was given to us . Everyone is doing well :)[Users must be registered and logged in to view attached photos or hyperlinks] ([Users must be registered and logged in to view attached photos or hyperlinks])

I knew your siggie had room for two more! I love the colors on Percy, such a beautiful bird! Now don't Lories have different diets than most parrots? Dingo looks like a love :th_heart: I hope they settle in well :)

Terri- Your sig image may have more room, but I'm sure you're gonna run out of room on your member panel parrots list before long ;)
Good on you for taking those 2 in! :)

A[Users must be registered and logged in to view attached photos or hyperlinks] I love the way they both look so happy to be in your home!! The male ekkie is beautiful despite his choice in tailored shirts. :th_LOL: In time I'm sure you will refine his way of dressing and he will be wearing the latest in green suits & ties. :th_biggrin:
I have read that can be a major problem with ekkies. The female rules the roost (I really like the way they think) and they have been known to kill their mates. I think that is why female ekkies tend to be so bossy and quick tempered. They are used to telling a man what to do and think everyone should jump to attention when they squawk! :th_wink:
