Awww Tiffany your fabie Mango is super adorable!! And you can sure tell he loves his Mommy! :th_hug8:
I've always loved the Sun Conures, such gorgeous colors. Never owned one, but almost got one once. :th_biggrin:

I don't believe you can ever "own" a sun conure. I think it's more of a them owning you thing! Haha jk

I'd agree.. Our sun owns his mommy.. We were close until I kept him from getting swooped by a hawk.. He's thought ever since.. That I'm a bad guy.. We're friends.. But barely.. But it's cute to see him and his mommy.. Lol
How did you save him, Brandon? Were you outside free flying? I've grabbed my bird before to keep him safe. Is that how it came down with you and Mango?

The hawk swooped.. Starburst was trying to run and fly off my arm.. I keep an eye for that stuff.. I grabbed Starburst and pulled him in and backhanded the hawk.. The hawk was stunned.. Starburst was shaken.. And ticked.. We've not really been friends ever since..

I didn't mean "Own" in a bad or strong handed way in my comment. It is just a figure of speech and I should have used a better word to describe what I have and have not shared my home with. All my birds merely allow me to share a small part of their playhouse I used to call my home. :)
