Old Newbie

Hello everybody! I haven't been on here in forever so I figured I'd reintroduce myself and my feathered friends. My name is Shelly and I'm 26 and I had 2 feathered companions-Rizzy a turquoise green cheek conure and Lilou a Senegal. Rizzy decided he didn't like me as much as my step-dad so he adopted him lol funny how that works but Lilou has definitely made it clear that I am her human and we have bonded well since last time I was on here. I had gotten her from a breeder as a hand fed weaned baby only to find out she wasn't ready to be weaned so I had to brush up on my hand feeding experience quickly (it had only been about a decade since the last time I did it). Everything worked out well thank goodness and she is a happy healthy soon to be one year old. Thank you precisely parrots for having me once again!

1966 This is Lilou today . . . I'm thinking maybe she may be a he . . . still under a year old so not yet mature but the feathers are really getting yellow under the tail and vest is only midline. What do you guys think?

Lilou is gorgeous!! I have never had the pleasure to see a Senegal in person. My friend in NY has one and she loves him. I hear they are super to own. Of course I have no idea on she or he since I have no experience with Senegals. Love to hear lots more about Lilou tho and all about what it is like being owned by such a sweet cutie!! :)
