I was just wondering if your birds have a little nap in the afternoon? If so, is there a particular time?
Codie always has a sleep around 3pm! He sits on his perch and you can see his eyelids closing. He shakes his head as if to say, "No, I am not going to sleep" :th_LOL:Tiredness then takes over him and he shuts his eyes, but, no matter how quietly I get up so as not to disturb him, his eyes are open instantly to see what I am doing :)

I find all my birds have "quiet time" in the afternoon and I can usually catch them all taking a cat nap. ;)

Wendy ,Tequila does too ! ;) The rest seem to have this same routine their on .They play ,scream and nap together :) If I take a nap [they do too ] :)
Mine nap for a couple hours in the afternoon, starting around 1:30. Even when Amigo is out and about, I'll see him tuck himself into his hole in the tree around that time.

Mine don't seem to have any real nap time where they close their eyes and actually sleep. Roscoe & Ruby Jewel are usually doing something. If not eating, they are finding something to occupy their time with their toys. Angel and Leyla Belle will be still for a little while, but their eyes stay open unless I just miss the cat naps. Pet is in & out of her hut a lot all day long. She may be snoozing some while in there. Sierra gets quiet and still, maybe a cat nap for a short bit during this time. The budgies are the only ones I find truly sleep during the day. :)

Lucy will get on her sleep perch and take a quick nap. Little Amber goes in her sleepy hut several times a day. Frankie, well if there is any activity at all he's awake. I'm talking about scratching your nose activity. It's rare that he will nap. He will, however, sit quietly for about an hour a day. The tiels and budgies are never quiet during the day.

Rosie rarely naps. Once in a blue moon I will see her out of the corner of my eye. But I swear she can feel when my eyes are in her and she jerks her eyes right back open.

All of my birds take naps during the day. Never really at the same time.
