On the 10th I'm having carpal tunnel release surgery on my right hand. It was originally scheduled for 2:30 pm which meant I would have to go all day without eating or drinking. Not fun especially when your spouse rubs it in while eating and drinking in front of you. Well, they called today and asked if a 7:00 am surgery on that date would work for me. That means getting there at 5:30 am. Well, I'm used to getting up during the week at 4:30 anyway so uh, duh! Yeah that would work! This means that by 8 am I will be walking out the door and headed to breakfast. I'm so excited! Only one more week to go. lol

Great news Deb! I hope it all goes well for you:) Has the surgery you had on your other hand worked?

Yes it has. I can now sleep at night without waking up to a numb, tingly hand on that side. I can't wait to get this other one done. I could have had it a few weeks ago, but that would mean taking two weeks off to recuperate. The 10th starts our week of spring break so I only will have to take off the following week. Thank goodness the dr was able to accomodate me on that one. Her child isn't old enough to be going to school so she will be working that week. lol

Oh, and I go for allergy testing on Tuesday to see what might be causing all these sinus infections and bronchitis. Woo hoo!! I'm going to be getting some answers and hopefully start feeling good again.

Hope all goes well with your surgery Debra. :th_hug8: How awesome it will work out better for you to get it over with and not have to fast. I've never been a fan of fasting, I could never be on any diet that makes me go without food for long periods of time. Glad to hear your other surgery has relieved your hand and it is back to normal. :)

Good luck with your allergy testing. Jerry has been through that testing a couple of years ago due to swelling in his feet and legs. His regular doctor kept telling him it was due to his being a diabetic now and was retaining too much fluid. He prescribed him a diuretic which did nothing to reduce the swelling. Once his tongue swelled we insisted his doctor get him an appt. with a specialist. The allergy specialist told him exactly what was causing his swelling before even starting the tests just by his telling her what medicines for high blood pressure he took. She told him to go tell his regular doctor to take him off the offending med. He did go ahead with the test just to be on the safe side and was not allergic to anything. Thankfully no ani
