New bird???

Hi all I am thinking of adding another bird to my home. I have a crimson bellied conure and he is very bonded and devoted to me. I am concerned he may not like the idea of me adding another bird to our house. Any thoughts on this? I just feel he might like another bird in the house for company. The new bird would have its own cage. Any thoughts on what type of bird would go with a CBC? I was maybe thinking about another crimson bellied. Any suggestions or advice would be appreciated. Thanks. By the way I forgot to mention that my present conure is out of his cage for hours on end during the day as I am retired. He usually sits on my shoulder as I work or wonder around the house. If I sit down he usually falls asleep on my shoulder.....lol. He is not a caged bird.

We would love to see some pics of your Conure :) What is his Name?

I think another Conure would be a good choice! It is very hard to say if they would get along. Even if they don't you could put their cages near to each other and they will chat away together :)

I have the same dilemma. I have a Yellow Crowned Amazon and am also thinking of getting another bird!

Thanks Honesty. I tried to post a few pictures of my CBC (Ziggy) but I guess it is a sizing issue. It won't let me do it and I am not real good at this sort of thing. Lucky I can type a message........lol. Old dog here and don't learn new lessons so easy.

Did you click on the "Insert Image" option? this is the third symbol to the right of the smiley face. Just click on this "Upload from computer".. Browse, double click your image and then "Upload" OR, if you have them on Photobucket, all you need to do is copy the image and paste it into your post!
