If that's your bird in the picture . Sometimes 2s can be told by light eyes female, dark male [but its not a for sure thing }

Yes, sometimes you can tell by their eyes, but it is not always accurate. The only way to know for sure would be DNA testing.

Well I hope he got his answer. I hope he didn't steal the bird either. It's kind of hinkey that he only came on asked that question wanted a quick answer for a cockatiel if that's his bird he doesn't even know what kind that he has. Sorry I don't mean to be harsh I just don't like birds used.

Very well said Kim! It does make one wonder why someone comes on & comments only once to ask a question about their bird(?) Then never comes back to at least thank the folks who try to help. Also makes me wonder why he needs a quick answer? What other purposes would you need a quick answer on gender for your bird except to sell it really fast! Does make me wonder as well?

We all know nothing is quick in the bird world except accidents or birds getting lost outdoors.
Don't be so quick to jump to conclusions, by the signature they are likely in a foreign country and English is not a first language. I have seen what Google Translate can do to a sentence, and it wasn't at all what I wanted to say.
