Codie looks like butter wouldn't melt in this pic. He is even having the cheek to wave :th_hehe: It was a different story when he bit me though :(

He looks too innocent to have done such a bad thing as biting. :th_loltears:

Yes, you wouldn't think that sweet looking bird in the pic can suddenly turn so mean :( He certainly does have a few little mood swings!

Oh Codie, I can't believe you would hurt your Mommy!! How could someone who looks so sweet be so devilish? :th_shocking:

I will try tomorrow but Rosie will probably destroy the sign before I get to take a pic. ;)

That photo of Codie holding the sign is Priceless!! He looks like he truly is laying claim to shame with that foot wave. :th_toofunny:

Kendra I was just thinking the same thing about mine probably destroying the sign before I can get a picture taken. LOL

I love your sign and your thinking Rosie!! You are so sweet to want Mommy to yourself.

And just "WOW!" on how you are not chewing up your sign for your photo! :goodjob:

Wendy I want you to know this was NOT an easy feat to accomplish. It ain't easy to get a boisterous macaw to hold a paper sign long enough for Mom to get a photo of him and the writing. Boy did I have one Po'd bird!! He got plumb mad at me when I kept taking the sign away to readjust it and quickly take a picture. Mad even to the point of refusing to take the sign at all. :) So there will be more than one photo to show you just what my macaw thinks of holding "Claim To Shame" signs! :th_hehe:

And the tootsie photo taking isn't going much better. :th_LOL: I started with Ruby Jewel and between me shifting her around to get a good view of her feet and wrestling the camera from her beak since I was trying to get a closeup shot, she was equally PO'd at me! LOL It's gonna take a short minute to get all my flock's feet if Ruby Jewel is a good indication.

:ROFLMAODog: De'Andrea. I can just imagine how hard it was to make hold that sign! Believe me, I had exactly the same problem with Codie. At first, he kept snatching it from me and tossing it on the floor :th_LOL:

I bet Daddy was not happy about having the wires on his headphones chewed :th_shocking: Roscoe doesn't look too bothered about what he has done though :th_hehe:

I love the sequence photos. Sorry he was so annoyed, but they are great!!!! And I'm sure Jerry is more annoyed about his headphones. Lol.

I gave the sign to Rosie once and she started to chew it. So I put it on the bed and started talking to her about taking a shower. She walked over to me and the sign and I snapped it quickly. Kind of cheating, but whatever works. :)

Yes Wendy Roscoe was and is very proud of his handiwork. It actually happened a couple of months ago when he & Ruby Jewel developed giraffe necks and seemed to be able to reach things off limits across the room. :th_hehe: I was in the kitchen, Roscoe was on his play perch and I saw him hanging upside down from his bottom limb. When he saw me he bounced up quickly and moved up to another limb. I went to see what he could have been reaching and found a very small nick in Jerry's headphones he uses to watch videos on his computer. One loop of the lead wire was close enough for Roscoe to barely reach. I told Roscoe, "Oh Daddy's gonna' be mad at you if they don't work!" I didn't tattle on Roscoe and the next time Jerry used the headphones he didn't say anything about them not working. Then the other night he moved the headphones to his old computer by his bed and began cussing like a sailor. Uh Oh, guess the move from one computer to the other done the wire in. I heard him say something about them being chewed and Roscoe's name was mentioned. :( So I asked him, "If you didn't see which bird did it, how can you just blatantly accuse Roscoe of it?" He said, "Cause he's the only one who gets on that perch!" The gig was up then. I had to sell the poor boy out. :th_LOL:

Kendra I don't consider it cheating what you did. It really took 5 signs to get any decent photos to use where it could be read. When Roscoe got mad about me taking the sign away from him to reposition it and he wouldn't take hold of it anymore, I had to give him a pistachio to soothe him. Then I gave him a couple of the half torn signs to get his desire to rip them up out of his system. Finally he was ready to pose for me. In the very first photo I'm actually trying to take it away from him. Every time I let it go he would grab it with his foot & fold it to where it couldn't be read as he tried to devoured it! :th_loltears:

Turquoise

Jerry hasn't bought new headphones yet, but he was eying some the other day. I quickly went to another area since i know how much it is going to cost to replace them! Sheesh!! Next week when we go shopping for supplies to restock the house I will let him get new ones.:th_wink:

Now this was not easy! Codie is in a very bad mood today and is in full on attack mode! He was not at all happy about this sign and simply refused to hold it! lol.

Those rascals!! Codie and Sassy should get their own tv show for some of the antics they do. LOL

I don't see how ya'll get them to pose so cute with their signs. It took all I could do to get Roscoe to not rip his sign right out of my hands in a matter of seconds. Not to mention 5 signs & a PO'd bird to boot! :)

I love that one Mare :) Codie was in a bad mood all day yesterday! He ripped that sign from my hand and threw it on the floor. In the end as he refused to hold it, I had to hold it in front of him with one hand and take the pic with the other! That's why the pic is a bit blurry. lol.

Haha, De'Andrea, you managed to get your pic in the end :)

There is no sign but I bet you can tell what she may be thinking :). My guess would be,,,"BUSTED!" Or,,,"She doesn't see me because I'm not moving and I'm invisible", the little turd :)

What would you all think she was thinking?

Hubs was so bummed out about his shoe getting chewed on :(. This little one disappeared for a couple minutes and I couldn't find her! When I did, the damage was done. My fault, not hers.

Hmmm, me thinks Hubs knows his bird and knows her capabilities~~Sooo, me thinks Hubs should be more careful where he leaves his girl's chew toys and make it easier for her to get without having to sneak around like a thief! LOL

Really cute photo, could be the making of a future photo competition subject/theme. Sneaky Parrot Photos. :)

These are hysterical!! My husband would be mad at Mina too. For his shoes getting chewed on. My comeback is, they should be put up or away. You know we have to baby/bird proof the room that Mina currently is in. Nope he still doesn't get it. I will send one of Mina too.

Mina decided to make the shades in her room the new "hang out" spot. I yelled at her for being up there and used her middle name. So she thought she could get out of trouble by playing peek a boo that is what she is doing in the first picture. Then I had to shame her. I wish I looked that cute when I was in trouble.
