Parrot spotter?

Ok.... This is totally off the charts but I was wondering how many people are brave enough too own up to this?.......... I'm a self confested parrot spotter, if I'm walking past a house with a parrot cage or noise of a bird I get excited & have to then find out what parrot they have. So if you ever see a 5ft blonde lady hanging around......have no fear it's prob just me trying to see what parrot you own. Don't call the cops I'm a harmless bird lover.

Although, after I find out someone has a parrot, I get stressed not knowing if s/he is well cared for.

To a point. I love to find parrot people, we really do not have many up here.

I wish their were people with birds here!!!! I drive my family nuts just seeing one on tv [or even a picture of one ] :)

The only other person around here that I know that has one is my AV. We have become friends and would love to set up a parrot society. We are both defiantly parrot crazy.

I too have no parrot folks I know close to me. The closest one I know lives 150 miles away and she tried to get a bird social started two yrs ago. Five people were supposed to show up at her house to have fun getting to know each other and discuss our favorite subject. All the folks lived in the same town as she does but us. Guess who showed up for the social and who didn't? Yep, we did and not nary a one of the other four did for various reasons or just didn't even bother to tell her why. We have remained close friends tho the distance makes it hard to actually visit. She is the main contributor of good info articles she finds and adds to my group page on FB. I only wished I could talk her into joining here. She would be a great asset to our community. :)
