You get a few extra dollars and don't think twice about buying bird toys instead of paying the unpaid bills with it.

You have tops with multiple beak holes. In fact, it doesn't even faze you enough to get upset about it. You just decide to wear tank tops at home to protect your wardrobe.
You spend $80-100 a month on great organic produce and none of it is for you
Haha, Kendra, I was about to say something along that line! :). My hubby went to a concert, with his brother, last night and wore one of his shirts that he didn't know had bird poop x 2, on the back! (He's funny that way, will hang up a shirt that he hadn't worn more than an hour). Well, when he got home, my daughter and I were here and pointed out that there was bird poop on his back! Ummm...oh well! :th_biggrin:

I'm impressed you are spending $80-100 a week. That's a lot of produce. For my rather small flock, $80-100 allows them a good diet and some luxury treats as well. I'm content

You're shopping for groceries and hubby picks up something he likes and you raise one eyebrow and ask, "Can the birds eat that?" Hubby sheepishly says, "No" "Then PUT IT BACK!!"

These are ALL so true. I looked at myself the other day and thought omg you look a wreck. I wear nightgowns no bras with big chew holes in them every day. Because Mina chews on my clothes an will cling to my bra and go crazy flinging around. Don't know what the hubby thinks but Mina and I couldn't be happier. The funny thing is I now have to ask my husband are we doing anything? I just need to know before I get dressed. Then I put on my nightgown and go be with Mina 😍
I can so relate, Kim! I do dress up when I have to work but get back into my comfy clothes when I get home, clothes that I don't mind the birds chewing on!
Terri! I keep telling my kids to please make the call!!
Yeah, so weird, Maddy. Sometimes, I hate how my birds come up in conversation but then,,I can't think of anything else to talk about?! Yikes!!

When you come in from work in the morning and your Pionus starts screaming~~EeeeWOK! And you scream back~~EeeeWOK! You both do this several times in a loving greeting sort of way. If any non parrot person were to hear this they would surely think you've lost it and need professional help. LOL
