Hello Precisely Parrots members,

I know people are interested in the fact my Alex and my Maxi, which are totally different breeds of birds,
get along so well and beheave as a couple.
So this video is a good exemple for that behaviour.
By the way, during this video Alex & Maxi are both standing on my left arm!
I hope you like it and I look forward to receive your comments!

Greetings from the Netherlands,
Rita

Wow! What a fantastic video Rita! That is so nice that Maxi and Alex get on so well :) I have never seen 2 different species of birds getting along so well together.

Thank you for sharing this with us :)

Thank you Wendy. Glad to hear you enjoyed this video so much.
Yes I am very glad Maxi & Alex get along so well together. It seems to be really rare for a CAG & a U2!
My Jenday Conure and Greencheek Conure get along well too (but not Always),
but those species are both from South-America and more related to eachother.

Greetings from the Netherlands,
Rita

You are so lucky Rita to have a U2 and a Grey getting on so well together :)

I will look at your other 2 videos very shortly. I have a few things to do here first and I like to be able to watch them properly!

That is amazing to me. I have always heard that species from different regions do not get along, especially greys with other birds.
How long have they been together?

This is a great video. I love to see them doing things that a truly bonded pair would do. It's amazing that they are such different species to do this.

Thanks Shelly.
I know what you mean though. My CAG wants to "eat" my Jenday Conure Jopie too. And he loves to tease my DYH Amazon Beertje.

Hello Dianne,

Yes, I've heard too that the relation that my U2 Maxi & my CAG Alex have, is rather unique.
They are together since Maxi was 7 weeks and Alex was 6 weeks, so they grew up together and they share 1 cage.

Thanks Debra!
Yes, I often hear how amazing the bond between my U2 Maxi and my CAG Alex is. I ams so Lucky they have such a fantastic bond with eachother, as a pair of birds from the same breed.
