Impressive! You have an artistic talent in making your fids toys. Do you recycle old toys or buy toy parts? I bet you find lots of natural things for toys around your property.
Great looking toys, Steve. However, one caution that each of us should be concerned with is the length and the type of material that we use to hang our toy objects from. When a piece of ligature material is used to hang such objects at its lower portion and that ligature material is long enough to wrap once around a bird's neck, it can easily become a 'weighted noose' during the bird's play activity :(. So it's best to be very careful when considering using such things as pieces of string (or any thin rope materials), or pieces of rawhide, or thin and flexible wires, or even small chains as a means to hang toy or food items from... because doing so can easily produce a weighted noose situation with the potential to strangle your bird as it plays :(. It's something that many folks don't consider until it's too late. It's always best to be proactive when it comes to bird safety!

Hi Steve,
Just what is on this string of toys. I do see pine cones but not sure what the wavy looking things are. Probably won't have access to it as well but just curious. I like the natural items best.
