Coltfire. My husband was saying we needed a change lets move. Let's move to Australia. I said are you kidding me. You walk out your door there and everything can kill you lol! See case in point. That is one stinking scary spider.

LOL its not that bad Minamommy, and there are plenty of great things to make up for the bad ;)
Snakes are only a problem in spring and summer for instance, and there are plenty of spots where they're extremely rare. Most of our killer spiders are tiny, the big ones tend to be friendly little buggers (although I'm still petrified of them lol) and they're easy enough to keep out of the house if you try :)
Kangaroos, koalas and wombats can all be nasty if provoked, but if you leave them alone, they'll leave you alone ;)
The ocean on the other hand is full of nasty human eating creatures and therefore I will not put more than a foot in it :P

That one has now gone bush.its just part of living where I am,its only now and then I have to worry about the birds. But they let me know real quick if any danger is near by

you would love it here. The good out weighs yhe bad. Most of the deadly animals and creatures will run the other way and unless your in the bush you wont see them

That is one scary spider!!

My husbands company has offices all over the world, including Australia. Sometimes people go overseas for a year or so. I always ask him to take us to Australia for a year. He isn't the adventurous type, so he says no. But I think it would be such an awesome experience for us all. So beautiful!!

Omg when I told the people I work with that I got a bird, they sent me pictures of that Damn spider!!!! I want sure it was real, or maybe I was scared it was real. How big is that spider? Like the size of your hand? I know you said they get big, but I can't tell how big that one is. I would hold a tarantula before I even got near that thing. Gross.

Holy phobia, Batman!!!!!!! I went with my friend to pick up her kid from pre school and they had a tarantula!! Right after I saw this post... Then there was a fake toy spider in the ground the size of my foot and I screamed like a little girl and woke a kid up who was taking a nap. Thanks a lot!!!! Lol

OMG Steve.

I am so glad snakes are very rare overhere and we do not have large spiders either.
I would be so afraid when I would live in Queensland Australia, eventhough I wish I lived in Australia because of the amazing amount of cockatoos in the wild and other birds like lorekeets, budgies, etc. etc...

Good luck and take care with all those dangerous snakes and spiders.

Greetings from the Netherlands,
Rita
