My name is Casey. I live in Minneapolis MN. I don't have a bird right now. I'm interested in getting one. I've liked birds for awhile. I know they live for a long time so I want to do my research before I bring one home. That's why I'm here. Nice to meet you all.

I'm thinking maybe a cockatiel or parakeet or love bird of some kind. I posted a post asking for advice in the general forum. I have the oppertunity to take a couple of birds from my mom. They are a cockatiel and a Green cheeked conure however, they are over 10 years old and have never really been handled and I really want a bird that can be handled and allowed out of the cage. Ah... options. I never do well when I have choices to make. :)
