Thanks Deb! They really do enjoy mommy time. Of course that chair is showing the wear. Quincy chewed a whole in it a few months back so now all the birds pick at it! :th_naughty:

I love your photos, Blanca! You have such sweet birds! African greys aren't dusty like cockatoos? I can tell by Quincy's beautiful black beak that he's not very dusty :)

Actually he is a pretty dusty boy! LOL! But we keep a humidifier going this time of year. A big one, just for him (and yes, it benefits us, too). It really helps! We also have an air purifier in the bird room for the Macaws and their sensitive respiratory systems. So between those two things, it helps keep the Quincy dust at bay.

Those are gorgeous photos of your feathered kids Blanca. Savannah is a beautiful red!! I will be glad when Ruby Jewel has her big moult and gets rid of the duller well worn baby feathers. She did not go through as big of a moult as the Catalina boys did at around a year. Guess GWs are slower at everything about maturing. LOL

COQUI is so adorable playing in her blankie. I bet her previous owners didn't know she loves to snuggle in a blanket. :)

Quincy looks like he's telling the camera, "Yeah Man, I may be smaller than a macaw, but I'm twice the bird they are and don't you folks forget it!! He is a cutie. Jerry would love another Grey, but I'm not in any hurry to add one any time soon. :)

Thanks for sharing g your flock with us. I love seeing photos of everyone else's feathered family in "Me" time. We need more threads like yours, especially with multiple species households. They are good spokes birds f or making it work! :)

I haven't really seen Savannah have a really heavy moult just yet either. She had a heavier then usual one a few months back, so that can be it. She seems to lose feathers slowly all year long. I'm sure Ruby Jewel will replace her baby feathers over the next few months. She is beautiful in either case! ;)

I don't think Coqui's owners had any clue of the blankie thing. I just happen to have one on my lap and she started snuggling in it. LOL! I do have to watch her though, she will start scratching her feet in the blanket and digging, which I believe is nesting behavior. So when she gets carried away, I take the blankie away so I don't encourage the behavior. She can be such a sweetheart though!
