Food bath?

Is it when you have the vacuum on?? My Eclectus Ruby does the same thing when I vacuum, but her dish is full of fresh food!

No, she's on tile. She does it almost every morning. My friend Becky speculates that she's doing her part to feed her "flock"... that she's "found" food and is spreading it around on the ground to share with the other birds of her flock, which theoretically I guess is my family, lol.
Heck, it's as good a theory as any, I guess.

She does look happy when she's doing it, Allison. She sits in the dish, flapping madly and chirping happily. Doofus.

Ha,Ha I never experienced this with my birds . But sometimes you have to be different :) LOL Maybe its a lovebird thing [maybe other owners can comment]. Cause I know that my too does things like other toos [and we always say its a too thing.] :)
