Rosie isn't always cuddly and sometimes wants her space, but when she is it is soooo cute.

Here's some pics and video :)

Rosie and I hanging out at night watching Top Gear(US), it shows just a glimpse of her cuddly side. She was a bit distracted, but so cute.

old photo of me petting Rosie with a scarlet macaw feather, she loved it

And this is one of her old photos, this is when she first started to ask me to pet her. Before she would scratch her own head on a perch. She is still greasy looking in this pic.

and just because it's cute, here she is scratching her head on a perch. No matter what Rosie always needs a good head scratching spot lol

I took that video specifically to show how she leans into my hand :) I think it's just the cutest thing!

I'm surprised you've never seen a bird do that, maybe it's just a cockatoo thing?

Hunter does it SOMETIMES, when I am ignoring her while she's on me, but she's very pushy about it. Ripley buries his head under my chin, which is TOO cute! But Rosie does it so sweetly and tenderly, that it just melts me away. :D

Im getting a baby male in June . Hes going to be 1300 ,which I think is a fair price. My Jennifer that passed away was 2500 [but I live in a area I don't think they easily breed ] do to lack of light . So I think we pay more . Where are you ? I miss Copper where is she ? All the pictures of Rosie is why I put a deposit on one.

Wonderful photos and video, she looks to be such a sweet bird! Both my cockatoos will lean in for a pet, like that. If I quit petting Sassy before she is ready for me to, I get bit!

Where abouts in Aus are you Coltfire? I'm in Vic and haven't seen a non tame Galah for less than $80 in a pet shop anytime recently (its how much I paid for Punky about a month ago) - handreared babies from reputable breeders are anywhere up from $250

It's also still legal to catch and sell wild birds here, and most places I looked, the cheaper ones were all wild caught :/ I got lucky in that I got Punky so cheap when she isn't wild caught...
