Today belly figured out how to get out of her cage !!! Its funny cause at first you think [its you and you did something wrong]. But nope ,she did 4 times before Dave made it so she couldn't :th_biggrin:.Ive heard of birds breaking out and letting others out [that would get interesting here !! ] Bellys Daves bird, she came to us screming but we figured her out [very sweet bird].[Users must be registered and logged in to view attached photos or hyperlinks] ([Users must be registered and logged in to view attached photos or hyperlinks])

She looks like a sweetheart! They are so darn smart! LOL!
Love it! She does look like she is Dave's bird!:). My cockatoo's are also breakout artists, I think they get onto something and don't let up till they've figured it out!

Awww how sweet! Love the photos of Belly, especially the one of her peeking out Dave's shirt. :th_hug8: Out of curiosity how did she come by the name~Belly? It is an odd name for a parrot to me and a girl parrot at that.
My Roscoe can unhook latches. Since his enclosure is a large outdoor walk-in type dog kennel (it is indoors, in my living room for new folks reading this), it has the usual flip up latch that can be locked. And that is exactly what I had to do~~put him under lock & key~~master lock that is. LOL Ruby Jewel still has not tried to open her latch which is just like Roscoe's. She is not nearly as clever as 'The Imp'. Really I think it is just that her being a Green Wing, she is taking longer to develop from toddler to pre-teen.

Ahhh, I see Terri. The name Belly is quite unique and cute, that is why I was curious as to how she was named this. I like unique names much better than common ones. My two Catalina boys were already named by their breeder, so I didn't get to choose a more unique one for them. :)

jT [that used to be on here . Was telling me a story once. His friend has a "too" rescue. They were driving down the road to go pick up another one. When his friend got a call that [a Goffin got out, then let everyone else out] he said they almost went off the road [can you imagine {he he]. Pearl [my Goffin ] got out once on his previous owners and chewed a lot of their beautiful wood moldings. Gotta watch those Toos :).
