The Sassy Goffin's girl LOVES scrambled eggs. I make her one every other day and it lasts for two days, two separate feedings. Although alot of it will go on the floor of her cage, can you feed your bird too much egg or do you think I'm feeding her too much egg?

I have never fed Codie egg, but I will certainly try him with it. I am always looking for new ideas as he is just sooo fussy :(

I can't answer your question on how much to give him though. Hopefully, others will be able to answer this one :)

Wendy, egg is always the first thing Sassy picks up, she really likes egg. I squish up a bit for Chip, he also seems to enjoy it. Amigo flings it as far as he can, wants nothing to do with it! :th_biggrin:

My fids all love egg and wipe them out! I usually only feed it to them about once a week when we have breakfast for dinner. LOL!

Do you leave the egg shell in the egg? That is very healthy for them. Try it, if you don't already!

I really don't know if you can feed them too much egg. I think the fact you feed 1 egg (I'm assuming) over 2 days should be ok. I feed one egg (splitting it into 3 portions) to my big birds.

Thanks, Blanca! :). I've tried it with egg shell and she won't eat it. That was a while ago, though, maybe I'll try it out again!

i feed cooper an egg about once a week. sometimes a few days early or late depending on if i have something to do. he eats some, but not a ton. I just crush the shell in with it while i cook it. sometimes i mix in fruits/veggies too.
