Is anyone else experiencing insane animals this full moon?

Rosie is completely bonkers, moody and just a handful. She started the day off by biting my neck bc I was on the phone (a major infraction in her opinion) and then flapping like a loon. Things only got better when she wanted to play peek a boo, very roughly. Shower time was fun, talking like crazy but then getting annoyed if I didn't repeat the right word back to her. The last incident was her hanging on my back and repeatedly pinching my arms HARD and then hiding in the middle of my back so I couldn't reach her easily. She found this very amusing until I finally was able to reach her & she was put on her stand for being too rough. She then loudly demanded APPLE, APPLE, APPLE!!!! While hanging upside down from her swing. Uggh!

My dogs are no better today. Just bouncing off the walls. Bailey thought she would join in on the oh so fun game of peek a boo by jumping on the bed and doing high fives while jumping around like a lunatic. Teddy then joined in by coming up & doing the only trick he knows, sit. Which annoyed Bailey and led to her putting him in his place. Then the whole process would start all over again, until I called it quits and headed for the shower.

At this point, I am counting the minutes until everyone goes to bed. ;)

:th_hmmm: Hmmm...Savannah has been rougher then usual, too. And she is pretty gentle. I figured it was Coqui's presence still. But she was doing better until yesterday. Maybe it is the full moon!

Full Moon or major weather change can have a affect on a animal. I know of a grey in San Francisco that would have nasty night frights many times a year. To the point the owner started marking the calendar when it happened. After a couple months she Googled the dates and worked out the night frights happened on the same nights the small earth quakes did. The owner never felt them.

Spencer is screaming constantly no matter where he is (he usually screams once in the morning when I uncover him) but he's following me around everywhere and just letting it cut loose, I thought maybe its hormone time, but the full moon sounds more viable.

Pablola - lol about your hubby.

Rosie goes to bed at 7 and is up around 7. We don't cover her, but she is in the dining room, which we don't use. Everyone is usually upstairs by 8 so she gets a good nights sleep. She was just nutty today. ;)

yes the moon effects all animals .I know they say it has no effects but being a retired nurse I can tell you we all hated to go to work when the moon was full.My birds also go nuts and I have found that they just don,t sleep well at night. They are tired and cranky.I try to make sure every thing is quiet at night and make sure I remain calm and soft spoken.During the day I play soft music. It will calm them also.I know the feeling of can,t wait till they go to bed.lol
