beaker, really, is nothing special. he is a GCC purchased from a pet store. he doesn't do any great tricks or say any amusing things.

but like all of our birds, beaker is the best! his colors amaze me, his antics amuse me, his love is unconditional and beautiful. he is "just a bird" to some, but to me, he is a huge part of my life.

Beakers is beautiful!! I love the little GCC Conures. They have a personality very much as big as a large macaw. They have a love for their human parront that challenges any large parrot for first place. They are awesome birds. I can tell you love Beakers so very much just by how you describe him. And we all love Beakers through your threads and photos of him. Beakers is family here, he is part of our flock! I feel I have hundreds of parrots since I consider every member's parrots as part of my flock as well.:th_heart:

I think what you may be saying is Beakers is "nothing special" to people that don't, or never have, had birds? To all us here, Beakers sure is "Something Special"! :)
