The chop I make is such a small amount I just make some fresh every day. The salad bar at Whole Foods is a wonderland for bird chop. I do not go there often because its expensive but today I went just for the birds. Their fresh produce looks so much better than any other store. Today the salad bar has cooked brown rice and also cooked Quinoa, red. Also got nice broccoli and dandelion greens. Birds are eating the quinoa and rice all by itself right now. At the salad bar they had baked winter squash with pomegranates on top.

Just getting their newsletter gives you some wonderful ideas for organic foods.

OK as requested I too a photo today of the bowl of chop made this morning. In it is dandelion, broccoli, red pepper, carrots, peas, quinoa, brown rice and pomegranate seeds.
Chop is best served in a shallow bowl so the birds can forage. I have just ordered a larger bowl from MSBS as the current one is too small for 2 birds. My two just sit and wait for the chop bowl I the mornings with much excitement.
