Today is Cookie's birthday. He has lived at the zoo in Chicago for his whole life. He is a Major Mitchell Cockatoo. He was obviously well cared for by the staff.

I know Cookie won't ever see this, but his accomplishments to reach such an amazing age for a parrot in captivity warrants a celebration!! Such a cutie!!:th_hug8:

Wow, that is great that she is having a nice long life! Can't say that about all parrots in captivity.
