Haha! That's cute, Sara. It's a shame it doesn't sound like a real budgie.

A quiet parrot? Well, I have one that is mostly quiet, but when she does let out a noise, it's a loud one!

I've seen that mechanical parakeet recently on t.v. It was so funny to watch & the silly people all wanting it. LOL

I have often told my flock that if they don't stop screaming, I'm gonna replace them with a mechanical bird. I then back that up with at least I can take the batteries out of it! Funny thing I often tell my 'wolf pack' the same thing about barking. :th_LOL:

Haha I just saw them at walmart in the "as seen on tv" section. Knowing my fine assortment of friends and family and how humorous most of them find my bird obsession, I will be amazed if I don't end up with at least one by the end of the holidays :p

Colbert did a pretty funny bit on them as well...[Users must be registered and logged in to view attached photos or hyperlinks] [Users must be registered and logged in to view attached photos or hyperlinks] ([Users must be registered and logged in to view attached photos or hyperlinks])
