Ok everyone, October's Parallels photo competition is now closed and the poll has been added. The poll will run for 7 days and will close on October 29th.

The winner will be announced by De'Andrea on the 31st.

There's still a couple of days left for anyone who has not voted on the October Photo Competition to get your vote in so it counts! The poll closes at midnight on the 29th.

OK, I know it is not midnight at the same time for everyone on here and it isn't even the same day for some. This will be a basic midnight time here in the US and we have 5 time zones (I think) ourselves and I am in the Central Time Zone. So, just try to get your vote in by some time on the 29th where you are at & it will count.:th_biggrin:

I will officially announce the winner and post a pic of the winning photo in a new thread. The winner of this competition can then decide what the November photo subject theme will be and we will get started on a new endeavor of scourging through our multitudes of photos for that perfect shot!

While we are on the subject of next month's Photo Competition, we do need a volunteer for a prize submission. If anyone would be willing to donate the prize for this upcoming competition, please let one of us know within the next week. The prize does not have to be handmade. It can be something you feel members here would enjoy, be it bird related or not. It can also be a voucher from your favorite bird site which offers toys and other good things for our feathered kids. There are several sites that offer a great many items any of our members would love to get for their flock. Some of these sites are owned by members amongst us and this would benefit them as well.

For new members that have recently joined the forum, this is a list of the prizes and the person donating them from previous Photo Competitions:
